76th Draw - A little bit louder and a little bit worse [open action/backdated to saturday afternoon]

[The Malnosso seemed to have decided to be nice to Selphie for a change.

Kinda.

They drop her off in the village alright but she's banged up and been bitten more than once. Fighting shift hunters for the past few days has been exhausting and they didn't seem to want to let her sleep at all so she while she may be walking of her own power, it's not very well or very fast. There's a limp to her step as well and her arms are crossed over her chest in an attempt to keep some bit of warmth inside.

Her dress is will stained with fresh and dried blood as she eventually sits down somewhere and huddles in on herself for warmth. Seriously Malnosso, would it kill you to send your mallynap victims back with boots in the colder months? At any rate, if someone happens upon her, the perky brunette is pretty banged up. Most of the wounds are pretty fresh and thanks to wandering about barefoot and an attempt at escape from their Lab, there's bruises everywhere along with the odd burn but those wounds are pretty fresh and better cleaned before they get infected.

[ooc note: Selphie's mallynap effect will make her impervious to the effects of any healing magic meaning that she's gonna have to heal the hard way.]

At least she's in the village. Mia catches sight of a limping figure in the corner of her vision. No contest - turning to go to whoever that is right now. It's cold, and even if someone just twisted their ankle a little, there's no sense-

It's a tired smile and Selphie's about ready to drop from the exhaustion alone but she manages to stay away. Sheer force of stubborn will, gotta love it.]

[Selphie sighs. She doesn't know what they've done but she doesn't like it already.]

[The adjustment period has not been good for Medli. In the past few hours, she's jumped off a cliff, been told that the food might be poisoned and that her every step is being watched, had someone list out over twenty different justifications for murder... and now a bruised and battered young woman just sat next to the fountain. Medli rushes over to her side.]

[Selphie casts a tired glance at Medli and nods slowly.]

OK, good! I'm going to try and clean and dress some of your wounds, OK? Please take some deep breaths for me and try to relax.

[She takes a breath, five seconds long, to try and help settle her own nerves. Then she exhales, slowly.] Like this.

[Huh. So she is. Well, old habits die hard and all.] Oh! Um... well, just keep doing that then.

[That said, she reaches into over the fountain and cups her hands in it - so cold! - bringing out some (not perfect but thankfully pretty clean) water. She dumps a few loads of it onto her apron until it's properly soaked into the fabric, then grabs an edge of the dripping makeshift towel and crouches down in front of the other woman. And tries to smile gently instead of shiver, because using your own clothes for this? Not the brightest idea she's ever had.]

[Grune is definitely willing to help a gal out! In fact, the moment she spots Selphie, she hurries over with the intent of getting an arm around her waist to support her. Maybe she would do better to kneel for that one.]

[She looks her over, and her concern grows a little. Giles and Cecil had been talking about learning from the spirits, now that she remembers. It's too bad she hadn't remembered to contact Nala before now, especially since all her gels are at home.]
