25th Draw = EARTHQUAKE! DDD: [Voice/Action]

[Backdated to shortly after the earthquake ended.]

[Selphie had woken up earlier that day to a pleasant day and she'd prepared a list of things that she needed to get done. Laundry and cleaning up the apartment were on the top of that list before she felt a rumbling that made her blood run cold. She bolted for the nearest doorway, bracing herself for the shaking that will leave place full of broken plates, spoiled food and destroyed contents. Granted, the quake only lasts a few minutes but they're the longest of her life before she's dashing into her room. She's throwing on clean clothes and tossing some of her belongings (journal, clothes, sentimental items from her friends) into her backpack before slipping into her sneakers. Her Morning Star is attached to the bottom of the backpack.

She stares at the destruction of her home before she's making her way toward the door. She has to get out, it's not safe inside. She doesn't want to be caught inside another explosion or some type of disaster and for the love of Hyne, this is screaming Trabia to her all over again. She stares at it for a couple minutes in wide-eyed horror before closing the door behind her. Whatever's happening today cannot be good before she begins to leave the building. After that, she'll be running through the village, finding as many of her friends and acquaintances as possible.

She'll also help dig people out because she's a SeeD and that's the kind of thing that they'd do in this type of disaster. Inside, she's freaking out but she'll be doing her damned best not to let that show to anybody.]

Is everybody okay?! Check in or I'm coming -- forget it, I'm coming to find you anyway!

Squall, Irvine, Rinoa you all better be alive or I'm kicking your asses.

No, but he should be fine. from what I can see, everything south of my building is ok. [As long as he didn't get up at dawn like Frey usually did and go somewhere, he'd be fine.] I plan to check on him quickly then head toward the village center. People might need help.

I hope so. My area's not so lucky. [Selphie was thankfully up early that day because she was planning on doing chores and running errands but so much for those plans.] I'll head there in a bit. I've gotta find my friends first.

[Forget the journal. Okay, more like Ceodore forgot his at the house. The moment the ground stops shaking, he's out the door to find Selphie, and then Frey. Don't mind the freaked out princeling running best as he can towards Community Building #3, calling out to her. Especially when he sees the building is flattened.]

[Selphie had returned to the location of CH3 after several hours of hunting down her friends. Now, she's aiding in the clean-up efforts as she's marching away from the wreckage with purpose. She's been hauling debris in case the dirt smudges on her face and clothes weren't enough indication of that. She's got some small cuts and the remnants of a nasty gash on her left arm when she hears her name called.]

[Way to scare the guy, pookums. Her showing up hours later has him frantic, even if he's spent most of his day fishing children out of a building and helping evacuate the clinic. He's nearly hysterical that he hasn't heard from her all day because he left the journal at the house. When he finally does spot her, she gets a tight hug straight off.]

Selphie!! I've been worried! [Looking her up and down now.] You're hurt.

[No questions asked, he's doling out a Cure since he's at full strength.]
