26th Draw = Griever Sighting [Video/Action]

[Since she got orders from Squall to check around for Guardian Forces, Selphie's been busy scouring the town, training on the monsters that get in her path searching for the critters. Damn some of those critter pack a punch as they've gotten Selphie a few times as can be noticed from the bite marks on her arms and legs. She just really, really hopes that Carbuncle decides to pay her a visit because she loves the little guy regardless of how many monsters try to take a bite out of her. Don't worry about her too much though, she's got some potions on her and she used a haste to be able to dart through the areas quickly. Knowing what you were facing is just as important as fighting it down.

However, Selphie came skidding to a halt before ducking into a vacant, dilapidated building and pulled open her backpack to use her journal. She hits the button for video and focuses the camera on the blackness of the barrier. If you look hard enough, one might just see the faint outline of a very unfriendly and unwanted guest. Afterwards, Selphie's got a serious look on her face. If it's who she thinks it is, it's bad news for Luceti.]

Hey uh... Squall? Is that who I think it is? I just hope that Eden doesn't show up or we're all screwed!

[Anybody who wants to run into Selphie wailing on monsters with her morning star, go right ahead!]

[Sokka glances up at Shiva, who is being pretty useless at not attacking stuff, but she at least looks imposing.]

Please, by all means, don't bother to help. [After getting a cold stare in return (hur hur pun), he unsheathes his sword and makes quick work of another of those cut rabbits.]

[Selphie shrugs at Shiva before heading back into the fray. The next Cut Rabbit that enters her line of vision, gets a nice old cleaving.]

I wish I had another Guardian Force to summon. She'd likely join right in then!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong! She's following me, but she doesn't say anything. [He cuts through another one, he's realized these Cut Rabbits are pretty easy. With enemies this easy, no wonder Frey looks like such a sissy.] Maybe she just doesn't like me.

I've never heard Shiva talk before. I've only ever heard one talk before and then they joined us after a test. [Selphie takes out another one with ease before kicking it to the side with the rest of the pile she's created.]

You have to junction a Guardian Force in order to use it.

[It's nice how they can talk and barely pay attention to the adorable bunnies they're killing.]

Junction it? How do you junction someone like her?

It's hard to explain! I can try to explain it when we're not killing enough rabbits to feed the entire village.

Lots and lots of magic! And the Guardian Force has to agree to join you in most cases which involves a lot of butt kicking but seeing as she's agreed to join you. Junctioning a GF is the only way that we could have fought and won against the Sorceresses we had to fight. If Quisty was still here, she'd be able to explain it better than I can.

[Selphie takes out a couple more rabbits with ease. It just seems like there's no end to them.]

You realize that none of this makes any sense at all, except for the fighting part.

Well, yeah, I could. [Oh look, there goes the last evil bunny.] Where do they even get axes anyway?

I dunno but they're not very sharp! [Selphie plops down on the ground. It's the first time she's sat down for longer than three seconds all day. She doesn't care that her clothes are essentially getting ruined by sitting in blood, dirt and animal remains as it just feels nice to sit.

Before too long, she looks up at Sokka and flashes him a grin.]

Hey, no problem. [He takes the reprieve to clean off his sword.] It's been... one of the crazier days since I've been here.

Crazy's one way to describe it. But hey, at least we managed to get some food for the village right? There's a lot of rabbits here so I bet we could make something for everybody to enjoy.

[Sokka looks at the rabbits.]

... I dunno if we should eat those, Selphie. They're not regular animals. They had axes..

Well then what do you suggest we do with all them then?

Pile them up and burn them, so we don't attract scavengers. [Or maybe they'll just disappear like all video game monsters...]

[Selphie disagrees with Sokka but she does begin to pile them up. Who knows if they'll disappear though?]

[They will fade. THEY WILL FADE. Just as Sokka is making a pile, they start evaporating away.]

Or, you know. We could just not burn them.

[Selphie blinks as the Cut Rabbits begin to vanish.]

Huh... why do they always do that? Wonder what they'll leave behind?

Nothing, I hope! [He didn't like the peeing boy statue he got last time.]
