26th Draw = Griever Sighting [Video/Action]

[Since she got orders from Squall to check around for Guardian Forces, Selphie's been busy scouring the town, training on the monsters that get in her path searching for the critters. Damn some of those critter pack a punch as they've gotten Selphie a few times as can be noticed from the bite marks on her arms and legs. She just really, really hopes that Carbuncle decides to pay her a visit because she loves the little guy regardless of how many monsters try to take a bite out of her. Don't worry about her too much though, she's got some potions on her and she used a haste to be able to dart through the areas quickly. Knowing what you were facing is just as important as fighting it down.

However, Selphie came skidding to a halt before ducking into a vacant, dilapidated building and pulled open her backpack to use her journal. She hits the button for video and focuses the camera on the blackness of the barrier. If you look hard enough, one might just see the faint outline of a very unfriendly and unwanted guest. Afterwards, Selphie's got a serious look on her face. If it's who she thinks it is, it's bad news for Luceti.]

Hey uh... Squall? Is that who I think it is? I just hope that Eden doesn't show up or we're all screwed!

[Anybody who wants to run into Selphie wailing on monsters with her morning star, go right ahead!]

[Whenever Squall finds Selphie, she's gulping down a potion before dipping and darting around a group of slow moving monsters. She'll be shouting at people to evacuate the area and that SeeD's got it covered before giving a Cut Rabbit (http://gensopedia.duefiumi.com/index.php?title=Rabbits) who seems to enjoy attempting to take a slice out of Selphie's leg. A fire spell cast at the bloody Rabbit should hopefully take care of that. She turns and sees a group of people gawking at the perky brunette before she's shouting at them too.]

[And not much longer after she's finished yelling, Squall comes skidding around the corner. Haste is a wonderful, wonderful thing to have.]

[After the end of her morning star lands in a rabbits head with a sickening thud, Selphie stops and shakes her head.]

I don't think so but I can hardly see him from here. Maybe it's the same way from up there?

[Selphie flashes a wicked grin at Squall.]

Got a flare spell you can spare?

[When Selphie feels the Flare coming her way, she dashes the building where she'd posted the message from. The sound of broken boards can be heard as Selphie makes her way to the second floor. If there's any way to get the attention of a big badass Guardian Force, it's to toss a high level magic spell at it right? Eventually, the perky brunette pops up out of second floor window before she starts making her way toward the roof. Next thing you know, Selphie's casting the Flare spell at Griever before she leaps off the roof and lands near Squall.]

If that doesn't get his attention, I dunno what will.

Still, it does indeed get his attention, and he comes swooping on down towards them.]

[Selphie gets ready for to battle Griever for the second time, hoping that he doesn't decide to eat them.]

[Frey had been patrolling for monsters when he saw Selphie fighting a bunch of cut rabbits. He runs over, calling out to her.] Selphie?

[And he wastes no time in opening up with a Meltdown.]

[Selphie can be seen spinning around before felling another cut rabbit in the skull. She had a feeling they'd be eating pretty good in the house for the next couple of days. Besides, they could probably barter or trade for supplies with all the axes being left behind. However, she's slowly getting coated in monster blood so it's impossible to tell if she's been injured or not.]

Frey! Wanna play with the bunnies?

I'm glad at least someone is finding these effortless. [With a swing of his nunchaku he takes out a few of them, grinning all the while.] These guys are from my world, you see. Pretty simple.

[Selphie begins dipping and darting around Griever and landing a series of blows. Naturally, she does take a couple whacks from Griever's tail but not before she hits a homerun right into the GF's leg.]

They're like Bite Bugs from back home. Besides, it's good training for me because there's only so many times you can whack a training dummy in the "torso" with a Morning Star!

[Griever roars at the blow, but he's nowhere near down, yet.

Once Selphie's done, Squall comes in, blade flashing. Unfortunately, he ends up taking more hits from Griever, but he can handle them. He has to.]
