81st Draw = Devastated [Written]

[Something is wrong. The night before, Selphie had gone to sleep curled in close to Ceodore and in the morning, the bed was cold. His things were gone. Selphie fell apart and has not left the apartment since.

She's alone again. She hates being alone. He said he'd never leave her and she'd believed him and then he broke his promise.]

Ceodore Harvey is no longer in Luceti.

[Grune has already received the news from Cecil--once he had calmed down enough to share it--and so Selphie's the announcement doesn't come as a surprise.

She sounds subdued when she says:] Selphie? Why don't I come see you right now?

Okay. You know where to find me.

All right. I'll be there soon.

[She closes her journal and sets off. Fortunately, she spends so much time in CH3 that it doesn't take her very long at all to find the building. Soon enough, she's knocking at Selphie's door.]

[Selphie doesn't respond but when she hears the knock on the door. the girl finds herself wishing that she was anywhere except in Luceti. She opens the door a few moments later and looks up at Grune. The look on her face is pure heartbreak.]

Hey Grune...

[Grune doesn't hesitate, but steps forward and pulls Selphie into a hug.]

[When Frey hears that one sentence over the journals this morning, it takes a while to process.

Ceodore.... was gone? Really gone? Not just kidnapped..... but gone?

He should be happy for this. No one deserved to be here, ever. But all he can really feel is shock, sadness at the loss of his friend- someone he'd considered a brother, and worry for Selphie as he pulls on a coat and heads out the door, making his way to the apartment he was fairly sure she was at. His pace is brisk even as he's obviously lost in his own thoughts.

She shouldn't be alone right now.]

[Frey will find Selphie in their... her bedroom curled into a tight ball having fallen back asleep from crying herself dry. Her hair is sprawled out around her and she's hugging a pillow.

She's in a sad, broken state who wants to leave this place more than ever. A piece of stability has torn the ground out from underneath her.]

[Frey just heads on in, opening the door to ....her room.

He doesn't even pause to announce himself, just sitting down and giving her an awkward hug thanks to the positioning but he really couldn't care a bit about dignity right now.]

[She'll stir at the sudden weight on her side and her eyes peel open to reveal reddened eyes as she looks up in the hope that it's Ceodore and...

Fresh tears well up in her eyes when she sees that it's Frey who come to stay with her.]

[Ikki will find Selphie on the couch, hidden underneath the hood of her favourite sweater when he arrives. If there was ever a way to make a vertically challenged person look small than they were, a oversized hoodie was bound to do the job.]

[The hoodie does a great job indeed. Ikki stops for a brief moment before he invites himself in and settles on the couch besides her. A hand fids her head probably trying to invite her to just lean against him in silence. He was never good with comforting through words, he would just be rough and pull people from their feet until they walked, including himself. It was easier when he was little and the only person he had to comfort was someone who had never knew the person they had lost, Shun always got better by him just staying with him or holding him. He doesn't know yet what to say to her so for now he does just that, be there with her, until words come to him or she speaks first.]

[Selphie's arms curl around the one going for her head as she leans against him. It's like the weight of the world has fallen on her as her feet and lower legs curl up beside her. The silence permeating the air is unlike her but there aren't any words to say. He'd hated this place and even he dreaded going home, Selphie knew that Ceodore had things to do there.

Regardless, her heart felt heavy and she hurt from this particular loss worse than any other. He was her first love.]
