[Enough! Enough is enough! There's just too much sadness going around Luceti right now and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Selphie feels like she has to do something about it. She doesn't trust her voice right now to say much of anything because the loses have gotten to her as well. Instead, she'll take to the paper in a similar way she did for Archie the other day.

First things, a good three-quarters in taken up solely by brightly coloured pictures. Trains, Sailboats, those red velvet cupcakes they have at the bakery, anything and everything that comes to mind. Then, she pulls out a pen and her bubbly looking penmanship flows over the page.]

I know that we've all been through a lot and we have reasons to hate this place but think about it this way. If we hadn't been brought to Luceti, we wouldn't have met each other. We wouldn't have learned the things that we've learned and we never would've known that our spirit can't be broken no matter what they do to us. It might shake us all up and have us wanting to give up but we can't do that.

As long as we're grateful for the friendships we've forged and the things we've all learned from each other, the Malnosso can never break us. So tell me guys, what's something that you've learned from another person while in Luceti that you would have never learned at home? For example, Sanji taught me how to cook and Giles introduced me to Romeo and Juliet.

I wish I'd been there to see it.

[It sounds like one of those you had to be there moments.]

[ She giggles, almost a little awkwardly so. ]

Well, if you would have been there, you could have helped us get down again.. It was little scary.

Did you guys end up stuck in a tree?

No. We actually got down since we decided to let go of the balloons one by one, so we softly floated down rather than falling like we would have done if we'd have done it all at once.

Oh! [A little lightbulb just went off in Selphie's mind. She gets it.]

That would've been something to see for sure then. It must've taken you two awhile to get all the balloons together. So that leaves me with a question for you then. What's the Luceti look like from up in the air?

[ ... oh. That actually would have been a pretty sight, so the disappointment settles in slightly by now. ]

We.. didn't really get the chance to look at it, I guess.. we were both pretty scared by the situation.

Oh... I'm sorry. Oh I know! You two could make a trip up into the mountains and look down from there? It's not the same as seeing it from the air but it's similar.

I wish I had an airship here. I'd show you guys for sure!

Oh, that's actually a good idea! I'll have to tell Nagisa-san about it later..

And.. an airship? Do you mean you've been on one of those before?

Great! It's really neat to see everything.

Yep and even better, I know how to fly one too.

T-that's so cool! I haven't met anyone before who knew how to fly an airship.. It must be really hard to do!

Where I went to school, we had a course on it. It was pretty hard in the beginning but once you got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun!

... They taught you that sort of thing at school..?

[ That surprises Madoka a little - it's not like she was ever taught anything like that at school either way. She's pretty sure no school she knows teaches that. ]

Yep! It wasn't exactly your traditional school.

You can say that again. [ a slightly awkward giggle. ] I don't think my school ever offered classes on that.

What was your school like then?

[Madoka, how are you gonna react when you find out that this person is a bit of a mercenary?]

[ it's probably for the best that she's just oblivious forever.. ]

It was pretty nice.. The lessons were a little hard sometimes, like the ones on English or Maths, but it was a lot of fun to be there with friends.
