[The first thing people might hear coming out of this post is a little bit of humming coming through. It's a very cheerful sort of humming. The kind where the person doing the humming doesn't particularly care about rhythm, key, pitch or melody. Selphie's humming for the sake of humming and her perpetually good mood of the past week.

Welcome to Luceti, Newbies!!!

This is for all of our New Feathers from this cycle. If you find yourself in need a hand, have some questions or just need a place to crash for the night, feel free to drop by the Welcome Centre. It's manned at all times during the cycles so there's always somebody here to help you out! There's myself -- Selphie's my name -- Rise, Emil, Rydia and Souji! Of course, if there's anyone else who wants to help out, your help is always more than appreciated!

Also, for those who are new, I suggest you take a read through the Guide that Miss Raine Sage has been maintaining. It'll tell you all sorts of things about the Village. Of course, we're a generally friendly bunch -- although we are splattered with a few grumps to level things out -- so don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it!

Well... I guess I'd better tell you then! I had to go and tell my friends that we were leaving the exam site in the next half an hour but they totally ignored me! Because this super mega jerkface by the name of Seifer just had to go and check out this communication tower against orders! So anyway, I took a bit of a tumble to find them but I wasn't hurt! And anyway, we all ended up going into the tower anyway and the quickest way to get there was to jump off a cliff.

So I jumped! And I didn't hurt myself then either.

I almost wish I received hazard pay. Certain dangerous monsters hide surprisingly little gold in their lairs.

That's rather unfair. Do they at least hide powerful weapons?

It must be absolutely impossible to pronounce.

Not exactly. They always left behind some sort of junk item that we could take a to a junk shop and get our weapons customized.

It's so difficult to pronounce that I've forgotten how no matter how many times they've explained it to me.
