44th Draw = Check ups! [Voice/Open action]

[Since Selphie had returned to normal, she'd been left feeling a bit odd. Events of the past two weeks were fresh in her mind and most of those events had left her feeling a tad on the bummed side. That was what it felt like to have a family to her. She hoped that it would continue even though they were all back to their normal sizes and ages once again. If she were to be honest with herself, lacking that family atmosphere has her feeling a bit lonely but she's not about to let that on to others. If Yao were still around, she'd go see him because he'd always said she could come over and talk to him.

It was nice to have a confidant who could make a mean cup of tea. It made her think about the friends that she'd lost since she'd come back to Luceti in the spring as she hoped that they were all well wherever they were.

For now though, she'll pull on her winter gear and take a walk in hopes that the fresh air would help her figure some things out. A friendly ear might be a nice thing to have though as she kicks up bits of snow into the air. She stares at her breath in the chilly air before moving forward.

Someone's in need of some advice and maybe a hug or two.

Eventually, she finds her way into the main plaza before she plops down on the side of the snow covered fountain and opens up her journal.]

So guys. We all like different times of the year. Some like myself, like Winter. Others might like a different season instead. So, what's your favourite time of the year?

And how's everybody doing?

[Well hey there girl at the fountain. You have company now. Ceodore's bundled up for the cold in appropriate attire and not armor for a change. He sits down beside Selphie and tucks an arm around her.]

Hey. Gil for your thoughts.

[And guess who's avoiding home like the plague today?

Yup, this guy. Actually, he's avoiding certain people period, but he will say hi to Selphie at least.] Hey.

My favorite time of year is...well, the opposite of this. I'm a summer girl. But I'll admit, winter has a few perks.

[Terra is wandering through the plaza, carrying a steaming cup of hot cider and bundled up well with a scarf and warm coat.]

My favorite time of the year is probably Spring. Each season has its merits, though, so it's a tough choice . . .

And I'm doing fine. What about you, Selphie?

[ Aaaaa, proper age again~ ]

I think I'm solidly on the side of the population preferring Summer.

[Elicia is oh-so-happy to be able to use her journal again. ;A;]

I'm doing okay, Miss Selphie! I was a kitty, but I'm a normal little girl again now~!

What does it matter? Not like the lab coats care if we like it hot or cold.

[ spike, are you completely incapable of answering a simple question? ]

I like spring. It's warm, but it's not too hot if you have to carry lots of stuff around. And there's lots of flowers and fairies around.

[Oh good, the shut-in who's barely left his room for a week is finally making himself known.]

Gotta say, I'm a fan of summer.

[Ikki's wandering around again, an old habit since he arrived to the village. His daily routine would be basically that, go from his apartment to the forest or the mountains to train or meditate. A visit to the bar now and then and little more.

But after the experiment... Well, even him can't help to be shaken by it. To spend two weeks as a kid again, as how he had been before the Kido corporation found him and Shun. Before the training to become a Saint. Before he knew who Pandora was or why she wanted to take Shun... It had been hard at first for his kid self, he had been confused and deadly worried and even as he settled in he remained worried. But still he had managed to have fun, to be... Normal. A normal child ignorant of the wars between Gods that he would be involved in only a few years later.

Ikki didn't miss being a kid. And he didn't regret the path he had taken, even if it had been mostly forced on him, he had always had the option to give up and die. But he had chosen to survive, to keep living. But his time as a kid had gotten him into thinking about several things, specially things his kid self had learned and that he didn't know. It was almost ironic that his young self, unaware of so many things, would get better ideas than the older one.

He's walking by the plaza, when he spots her... He hasn't seen her before but even from behind that hairstyle seemed familiar. Moving to circle the fountain and get a better sight of her face... Well, Smoker had talked about the kids leaving, so he shouldn't be surprised to find that the girl seemed familiar. But he still wasn't very convinced.]
