selphie_t | 28th Draw = Caught a cold! [Voice]

[So Hughes was right! After stomping around in the rain the other day, Selphie has indeed caught herself a cold. And to make things even better, the house where she'd been welcomed into has been uncomfortable and she's finding it difficult to deal so have a perky brunette hiding out in a quiet place so she can rest up. So since Monday, she's been snoozing off and on because one day of non-stop angst, tension and anger was more than enough for her.

So in case you didn't notice, dear emo special someone who shall remain nameless, your special someone is hiding. But in a few moments where she's awake, Selphie checking her journal but there isn't a very clear picture of her. She can't hide the fact that she's coughing though. If you notice that she's speaking into her journal more quietly, then maybe some of you know her well enough to know that's something's wrong.

And you know... getting into a fight with a Demon!Tsuzuki definitely didn't help things so on top of being sick, Selphie's a wee bit hurt. Another reason to hide from certain people who shall remain nameless.]

But I thought...

I'm coming over.

[She turns her voice option back on.]

I know, Ceodore... [But there's only so much angst and people telling her that they don't deserve her that she can take.]

Okay.

[At least he's still got the good manners to knock on the door instead of barging right in. Something about the way she said 'my place' still stings and it's taking a lot of restraint on his part not to punch something or someone.]

[It's become a safe haven for her and one she's not fully prepared to let go of in case something like this ever happens again. She needs the time to think and get some sleep. She'll wander over to the door when she hears the knock and opens it slowly. She gives Ceodore a sheepish smile before sitting down at the nearby table.]

[Ceodore crosses his arms as he walks in, still looking sulky about something.]

Are you mad at me?

[Selphie sighs at that question. She's not mad, just overwhelmed.]

If I was, I'm not anymore.

So you were mad at me.

[Selphie nods. She's figuring that if he's going to go on an angry tirade, now would be a good time to let him do it. At least here, there's noone else to see it happen.]

And what did I do?

[Careful there, Selphie. Just about any answer is going to trigger more angst. He just can't do anything right.]

[Time for an outburst!] What did you do? You've been angsting about everything, saying that you don't deserve me that everybody else is out of their minds and you're being a huge jerk to everybody!

One of my best friends from home doesn't even remember me and we got into a fight with someone for no reason whatsoever and all I wanted was a little bit of peace and quiet because it's all so overwhelming right now.

[And with that... she's done but not before she's drinking some water because yelling isn't conducive to getting better. Getting that out of her system will hopefully get her back to cheerful soon.]

[Ceodore just stands and takes it. He just knew this would happen. For a minute, there's a flare of anger in his eyes. He executes a formal bow and turns to leave.]

Then you shall have it.

[Selphie's eyes go wide as tears begin pouring down her cheeks. She doesn't want him to leave. If only he'd stop being such a jerk as she falls to her knees and looks up at him. She's just shaking her head in disbelief before she starts coughing again.]

[He can't see her reaction, since he's already on the way to the door. The cough gets his attention and part of him wants to stay and forget all this and simply hold her. At least it stops him in his tracks.]

You should be resting.

[She simply sniffles when he tells her that she should be resting. Why can't he just notice that his attitude and demeanour are killing her right. Her voice is thick with emotion when she replies.]

How can I rest when someone that I care about isn't himself?

This is how I've always been. So sorry it's not good enough.

[That's the hurt and breaking heart speaking and he's now storming to the door. She's had her say. Figures he'd never measure up.]

[Selphie is shocked as she sits up straight and just stares at him. There's no flicker of a frown or a glare but it feels like part of her heart is breaking as he's storming for the door. She's had enough of this and she'll just let him leave. But he's really done it this time as Selphie doesn't even know that she's crying this time.]
