[Hopefully those who know Selphie will understand her sudden silence over the journals in the past few weeks. She's not quite sure how it happened but she started feeling like she was living in a freezer no matter how many layers of clothing she wore. This just so happened to happen a few days before they were all whisked away to Malnosso World when her immune system had had enough abuse and left her with a wonderful case of the Flu. She'd spent most of her time at Malnosso World in bed with the family pet to keep her company. Having only enough energy to focus on sleeping and forcing herself to eat and drink was enough for the perky brunette during that time.

She'd finally gotten most of her energy back by the middle of last week but wasn't really feeling up to leaving the apartment. Besides, everything seemed to have changed around in the apartment and she was still in the process of rearranging everything to her liking. Maybe her rearranging has gone further into the living area of the apartment? The way that everything was arranged just gave her the feeling that they'd never lived there in the first place. A little artistic flair took care of that as she stands in the kitchen glaring at the top shelf of the cupboard where all the tea is being kept.]

Can we please put things on the lower shelves in the cupboard? It's either that or somebody's gonna start playing human footstool. Not all of us were born to be giants y'know!

[A little later on, Selphie takes to writing something down in the journal before switching over to voice.]

Don't mind me there, it just felt right to say that to everybody who's been showing up this month! Hopefully everybody's found a place to stay by now and won't be caught out in the cold.

It looks like it could start snowing any day now though! No more mud, just loooooooots of snowmen to make!

And hey, anybody have any ideas on how to make these new apartments feel like a home again? I've spent the better part of this weekend just moving things around and discovering that being short seriously, super mega seriously sucks. A footstool or something would've been nice.

Well, sometimes you need to make the best of a bad situation and roll with the punches. There's not a lot you can do about being here once you're here.

As for what I've decorated the apartment with, just items that give the place a pop of colour and make it feel warmer. Lots of greens and blues and yellows because they're good colours for this time of year.

[How short? SHORT.]

Five-foot-two-and-a-half inches. What about you? I have some points from a mission I went on shortly after I first got here so I was thinking of using those to get a footstool or a small stepstool of some kind..

Yeah, you're right about that. I've come to accept my fate, but I figured the wings aren't too bad. Except their color is... [She hates them, like who even gave her pink wings...]

But hey, at least you're making it fit you. I'm not doing so hot myself; I mean, I'd need at least...hell, a shitload of plants to make this place feel like home.

[Well well. She's actually grinning herself.]

Try five feet exactly. It's not too impressive, but I'm not going to denounce being short, hell no!

Once you get used to the wings, they're pretty easy to hide under your clothes. They can't be that bad, can they?

If you're still here in the spring, ask around for some seeds. I bet there's lots of people who'd be willing to share.

Nothing wrong with being short. I'll have to use a chair for now but there's going to be a footstool found and coming home with me.

I dunno if I'd want to hide them under my clothes. They're uncomfortable as it is, and they're getting on my nerves. Not like I care about hiding things, anyways.

Huh, people are that kind to share here? I didn't think there'd be a lot of nice people here, I just assumed they were assholes.

...although it is pretty painful to get where I want- I think I might take your idea of finding a footstool.

The only time I really found them uncomfortable was when I first got here. But... that was nothing compared to the belly flop that I did when I landed in the fountain. There's reasons to keep them hidden though.

Of course! The people in Luceti are pretty nice and stuff! Ask around sometime if you get the chance.

Yup! Our most wonderful and considerate benefactors are the ones who thought it was okay to do that.

[Selphie doesn't know if she likes that sound of that comment.]

Anytime! When everybody you know has a good six inches on you, you learn to improvise pretty quickly.

You mean the guys who brought us here? Jeez, did you at least find them and kick their asses for it? Cause I'm thinking I'd be pretty pissed off.

What, you don't think so? You just put on a girly girl act and the white knights will fall all over for you.

[It's tested time and time again, but she's getting pretty sick of it.]

Let's just say that they're gonna love the day I get my hands on a rocket launcher.

Oh I think so, no worries there.

[Selphie's more than guilty of using her puppy dog eyes and pout combination to get her way. Saying that she didn't think so would be like the pot calling the kettle black.]

Other than step stools and not using the top shelf? Not too much really. You just gotta do what ya gotta do to get stuff sometimes.

[She just lets out a tiny snrk at that.] Why settle for rocket launchers? Get a fighter jet and bomb those assholes to kingdom come.

Hah, so you do agree? Glad I'm not the only one using my cutesy looks for that.

[At least she's not afraid to admit it herself. Still, she does feel a bit guilty whenever she does that but that's another conversation in and of itself.]

That sucks, I'd have to improvise quickly then. [A tiny shrug.] Do you have to rely on your athletic abilities sometimes, then?

[Ahahaha... funny you should mention bombing people to kingdom come...] It's easier to aim with a rocket launcher and it's a little more portable than a fighter jet.

Well... a gal has to do something, right?

[Selphie can't help but laugh good naturedly at that.] Let's put it this way. It climbing up onto counter tops to get at the top shelves was a professional sport, I'd be in first place.

Yeah you're right about that...but with a fighter jet, it's also more explosions, and more insanity! Plus you'd be flying in the air; something about that has to be cool.

You're right...but it gets boring after a while, ya know...

[Oh, so this girl was a top ranked shelf climber...] You wanna make a bet on that? Give me a few days of practice, and I'd climb up myself-!

I'll do the flying if you do the shooting? [Fellow partner-in-crime? Oh ho~ the possibilities of doom in Luceti are skyrocketing!]

I suppose so but then you just have to switch gears and throw 'em for a big ol' loop!

Hehe. That actually sounds like a plan to me, if you can fly something like that in the first place.

That's what I did, at least. They didn't see it coming...or at least some of them haven't seen it coming at all. I'm proud of my accomplishments.

If you want to make it a dare, you can bet your ass it's going to be one.

If I can fly the Ragnarok, then I can fly anything!

[Selphie grins.] Well then, you better get practicing then.

The hells a Ragnarok? Is it supposed to be some awesome air craft...thing.

[Of course she's on a roll, she's already duped like...several guys as it is.]

Dragons totally exist! At least, where I'm from they do but yep! The Ragnarok is shaped like a Dragon and packs quite the punch. She's fully loaded and ready for action. It kinda sucks that it's not here but... that would mean the Malnosso were feeling nice.

Which is like... next to never.

Guess I better get some training in myself. I'm not gonna lose!

[She has no clue what in the world she's going on about, but she might as well shrug about it.] Huh, I want to see this thing with my own eyes then. I mean, if it's just as impressive as you say...

I suppose I could make a mini version of it using the battle dome computer. It would be the same as the real thing but I guess it would do the trick. It might take a little while though so if you don't mind waiting, I can work on it!
