1 ♥ Belly flops for the lose
[Everybody loves being dumped in strange places right?
Well, okay, maybe not but the Malnosso sure do enjoy dumping people in strange places. Alternatively, to bring a familiar face back into the enclosure, they're going to dump her in the fountain. A fountain that seems to be full of cool water as a small person appears in the air before belly flopping into it with a painful splash.
Selphie flounders in the shallow water before emerging from the water with her hair sticking to her head. Sorry if she got you wet, whoever you are, but she's going to look at her surroundings curiously. She wipes her bangs out of her eyes as she slumps over the ledge and frowns. She wasn't fond of aches from taking an unwilling belly flop, and she definitely wasn't fond of the pain radiating from her shoulders and neck.
She remains sitting in the water as she watches the people she doesn't know pass her by without so much as a glance. One would think that people in Luceti would be used to people being unceremoniously dropped in the fountain.
Quite some time later, Selphie has finally crawled out of the fountain and is sitting on the ledge with the journal she'd discovered nearby. She'd been pushing the buttons to figure out how everything in it worked before she finally gave the journal a whirl. Her dress was drying in the summer sun, and she had a bemused look on her face. The details of this situation she's found herself involved in being clear, but she'll take it in stride just like she has with every other major event in her life.
No big deal as she presses the button that will give her entry a voice.]
Hello? Hey, is this thing on? Testing, testing! ONE TWO THREE!
So... I know that there are people here and that it's warm and everything, but um... is there any chance I could borrow a towel and a change of clothes?
I definitely made a splash coming into wherever I am and um... can somebody tell me what's going on?

Oh, it'd actually be my pleasure to have you wearing my clothes. I could even swing on by.
[Of course, she could go to the clothing store. But for this? Naaaah]
voice
Well, considering that I have no idea just where the heck I am at the moment, that might be easier. Seriously though, what's going on?
voice
[Cackle, and the sound of him standing to get a towel is here]

The one day he goes to lie on the fountain's edge is the day a girl has to go and fall in it and soak. Rolling off onto the ground he stands up quickly to look into the fountain and low and behold, IT'S A GIIIIIRL.
He frowns a little as he looks down at his clothes.]
I'll give the landing a five out of ten. If only because you're not supposed to soak the spectator.
Action
That was at a six, what're you talkin' about? It's hot enough for a good soaking though. You should be thankful.
Action
[However, his annoyed tone soon turns to a grin.
He extends his mechanical hand out to her.]
C'mon. I think you've had enough swimming in the public fountain.

Uh... taking a swim?

Kinda? Maybe? I woke up to the joys of a sore chest from an inadvertent belly flop and I don't know where I am and um...
Nice day for a swim?

I don't think I've seen you around before. What's your name?

When he gets close enough to the fountain to make out the familiar mop of brown hair, he freezes, bag of groceries in hand. It is not exactly a new sight for people he knew once to return. Selphie had done it before herself, after all. His own sister had, even.
It's enough to make him slightly cautious about his actions. He approaches, not sure yet if this was the woman he had grown to know, if this was his close friend.... or someone who lacked those memories they shared entirely.] ....Are you alright?
[action]
She does nod at his question, grateful for a friendly face.]
Well... I'm a little sore at the moment. A little wet too but I'll survive.
Any chance you can fill a gall in on what's going on?
[action]
If she didn't remember.... he wasn't going to force those memories upon her. His experience with Aleos was fresh in his memory still, and he did not plan to make the same mistake again.] I suppose you have not spoken to anyone yet about where you are.... You are in a village called Luceti.

The post seems like she didn't remember. Will she eventually remember later, or not?]
Unless someone's coming by already, I wouldn't mind bringing in a towel for you.
[Voice]
A towel would be great! But for now, I'm gonna sit here and air dry.
[Voice]
Just sit there and I'll be over!
[Brief pause.]
You're by the fountain, right?

[His strained to be polite.]
I'll answer your questions if you quiet down.

[And quieting down now.]
I was just making sure that it was on. Maybe I was a bit too enthusiastic?
voice;
...
[It was tempting to leave her hanging, but he wasn't that unkind.]

Before you ask, you're not in Kansas anymore. You're in Luceti. Backwater alternate universe prison - sound familiar at all?
voice;
What's a Kansas? It sounds like a weird name for some type of really weird food.
[She's not exactly from your neck of the woods. Chat a gal up for a bit and you'd be surprised at what she remembers though. She's just a ball of curiosity right now and is doing everything possible to find out what's going on.]

[Action] Sorry for the late and the fail tag
Still, he has gotten used to live with his Cosmos expanded, reaching everywhere in the closure, waiting, ready in case a "miracle" ever happens again. It's not different from him doing so to keep an eye on his brother, and even with Luceti's limitations the area is so small that it barely gives him any trouble. So, when she first appears, even before she lands in the fountain, just as she's falling on it, Ikki already knows that she's here and where.
With that he moves as fast as he can, breaking past the speed of light, and by the time she's frowning at the new world around her he's just there. A towel is allowed to fall gently over her wet hair, and it's only because he knows she won't remember him that he's not drying her hair himself. She returned once before, and her memories were foggy at best but they returned, it was a miracle. One Ikki doesn't expect to happen again. He takes a breath and opens his mouth as if to say something, but words fail him and he settles for saying nothing. Instead he just looks at her seriously and with a completely guarded expression, holding yet another towel and a change of clothes for her. If she asks he will say he was just passing by and that the clothes belong to a friend, if she doesn't he won't say anything about it.]
[Action] not a problem and soooo not a fail tag! :P
She'd never been afraid of Ikki. She wraps the towel around her shoulders as she smiles at the saint. There's a hint of curiosity in her eyes before she stands up and moves closer to Ikki before looking up at him. Her eyes are now curious and questioning, the familiarity of this person is too strong to ignore. Have they met before?]
Thank you.
