Third Draw - Selphie's First Hangover [Voice]

[Ssssh, just assume this appeared this morning. I only got the chance to post this now.

Selphie's speaking pretty darn quiet this morning. She's feelin' pretty darn rough right now. Feel free to be mean and shout at her!]

If this is what a hangover feels like, I don't think I want another one. I wanna curl up into a ball and die right now.

I don't mind in the least, aru. I'll be by in a little bit.

[And, indeed, a little while later, China makes his way up the stairs to her room, carrying a small, covered pot in the crook of one arm. He taps lightly at the door.] Can I come in, aru?

[Selphie's changed into pajamas after waking up in her wrinkled dress from the night before. She's walking slowly up to the door of room fourteen in Community House 3 before opening the door and giving China a small smile on her face.]

Come on in.

[He smiles back at her, shifting the little pot in one arm and stepping inside. He walks over to set it down at a table.]

How bad are you feeling, aru?

Well...

I've been drinking water and it's helping a little bit but I've got a headache and the sun's not helping that and I promise that if it goes away it'll never happen again, honest!

[D'aw. You get an indulgent smile for that, Selphie. He lifts the lid off the container, placing a spoon by it and nodding to indicate she should eat.]

Have some congee for now, aru. After that, you should walk around a bit, and it'll help. [And he moves to make sure the curtains are keeping the sun out.]

[It really does look like porridge as Selphie takes the spoon and digs into the congee. It may be a bit plain looking but it's going to be better than anything she had last night in comparison. She brings a bit of the food to her mouth and swallows it quickly. It's definitely plain tasting but that's okay because she likes it anyway.]

It's good.

[China nods approvingly and walks over to take a seat, folding his hands into his sleeves.]

[Selphie eats it slowly before asking a question.]

I bet you could put all kinds of things in Congee right?

[China nods slightly.]

That's right, aru. Meat, vegetables, fruits, eggs... And it's good eaten with youtiao--fried bread sticks.

[Selphie nods in reply but she's not really sure what to say. Instead, she'll just start eating again but she is feeling a bit better.]
