[It's been several days since Selphie's popped over to the battle dome for some training. Of course, knowing that Doctor McCoy practically lived there and she'd been sick, he likely would have told her to go home anyway. Add into that that Ceodore wouldn't have let her out the door for most of last week and there we have it. Selphie was sick of being stuck in bed and now that she wasn't feeling tired all the time, she'd grabbed her nunchaku and sauntered on over to the dome.

She'd spent about an hour fighting monsters in the training centre program she'd made before being a sweaty mess in her training gear. She'd probably have to find someone to repair the light armour she was getting used to wear because it was getting more than a little damaged from Grat beatings. If hadn't learned Nala's magic by now of course, she'd never hear the end of it for coming home a bruised mess.

Good thing she had used that healing magic because the first person she sees upon setting sights on house 32 is an annoyed looking Phoenix Ikki. It has her wondering what she's done now to annoy him so and there's no way she can avoid him when all she wants is a shower, sandwich and maybe a nap as she finally sighs in defeat and decides to deal with the grouch head on.

ooc: this post is open to everybody though so if you wanna run into Selphie, feel free! Chronologically, Ikki's thread is the first thing to happen.]

[A bit later, Selphie's taken to leaving the house for the day but she left a note for her housemates saying that she'd be back later. She'll head for one of her spots to think about some things along the river past house 59 where anyone listening to this entry will hear the telltale noises of rocks being thrown into the river and the chatterings of the talking squirrels in the background. She's in her usual tomboy gear of jeans, t-shirt and sneakers.]

[He had come here without bothering to track her Cosmos first, so he was surprised when upon arrival he sensed her outside of the house... It didn't make him any happier, not that he was annoyed or anything. Much less worried, no sir. He was just, normal, there was nothing wrong here. And he's not eying her with a frown as she finally appears and approaches the house -and him given that he hasn't moved-. He takes notice of her clothing for the day.]

[Oh yeah, he definitely looks annoyed. Still, it's her home but she'll plop down beside him on the steps and smile cheerfully. It probably won't work but she still has to try.]

[Rydia doesn't have much time to visit the battle dome this week, given all that's happening at the Welcome Center. At some point late in the afternoon, though, she returns home.]

[Rydia's voice wakes Selphie up from the nap she'd decided to take as she wanders out into the living room of the house rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.]

Better! I went over to the Battle Dome this morning and was taking a nap after training earlier.

[In a very lucky (or unlucky?) coincidence, there is a sandwich maker in the kitchen when she arrives, currently hesitating between ham and chicken. His sandwiches are much better than anything he prepared during the event, promise.]

[Well, Ceodore did suggest that she talk to Cecil about what happened during the experiment as she hangs her nunchaku up on its peg on the wall before wandering into the kitchen and peering around behind Cecil to see what he's up to.]

[ damn right he told her to go home! McCoy isn't a fan of watching people run themselves into the ground for no good reason and when he spots the teenager programming a scenario today, he wanders down to watch the scenario. time to see what everyone makes such a big deal about. ]

[McCoy will see a large enclosure that looks akin to a tropical environment and several groups of monsters making their rounds in the area. It's the typical run for Selphie in the training centre as she starts taking out the bite bugs and grats with ease. She's taking it easy for the first session but the ones that he'd likely observe later in the week.

Once the simulation is over, Selphie makes a beeline for the vending machine and picks out a sports drink and starts chugging it back before plopping down on a bench to catch her breath.]

[ McCoy raises an eyebrow as he watches the teenager fighting those overly-sized bugs in the simulation. one hell of a recreational activity, he thinks dryly and turns away from the sill and watches her plop down onto the bench. ]
