[Over the past few days Don had, by various means, contrived to learn where Selphie really lives. This felt like a conversation they should have in person.]
[So, around mid-afternoon, he'll be knocking on her door.]
[Selphie had felt compelled recently to have a lazy day and she decided for this Monday to be that day. She comes to the door in a pair of pajama bottoms with cartoon trains on them and a baggy t-shirt on with her hair pulled into a messy bun.
She smiles warmly at Don when she opens the door.]
I remember the liar and meeting your friends and your brothers and sensei and that stuff from when we had to fight together and some vague stuff about this Star Wars stuff but otherwise, not a whole lot.
[Don isn't sure how to take this. Is Selphie not at all angry about being given a set of false memories? Maybe she's been here so long that she's resigned to it.]
I -- There aren't a lot of people I share memories like that with. Even if they aren't real for you, it still means a lot.
[Selphie took the time to figure this stuff out and what it meant to her. It bothered her quite a bit but she had to be alone to figure these things out. She'd always needed to be alone to figure these things out.]
[There's just some things she doesn't like to share with a lot of people.]
My world doesn't really have a name. I should probably give it a name sometime. My friends are the Orphanage Gang. There's Squall, Quisty, Irvy and Zell and they're the best friends a gal could ask for. I was pretty young when I got into the martial arts and I don't really remember why. I probably thought they were cool.

Hey Don.

[He was going to invite her for a walk, but she probably doesn't want to go out dressed like that.]
Selphie. Can I come in?

I'm sorry about the visit. I didn't know that was going to happen.

Oh, you mean the experiment? You didn't know that stuff was gonna happen.
Just... who's Yoda?
no subject
You forgot who Yoda is?

[The green dude. Your favourite character from Star Wars. Selphie frowns thoughtfully.]
The Jedi Master... It feels so familiar now but not at the same time.

You remember watching the movies with us. But - they don't exist in your world.

Selphie... how much do you remember about my family?
no subject
But that doesn't mean that we can't be friends.

[So... yes. He wants to be friends.]

Don. Thanks.

... Are you really a 'chucker?
no subject
I'm one of Garden's best 'chuckers.

Do you want to spar sometime?
no subject
A spar? Hm... I think I can handle that.
no subject
So. You've seen my life. Do I get to hear about yours?
no subject
Whatcha wanna know?
no subject
Where are you from? Who are your friends? How did you get into martial arts?
