[Well so far today, Selphie's been thrust into the middle of a rather tense and uncomfortable argument between two of the members of House 59 and to make things even better, you could cut the residing tension left behind like a hot knife through butter. It's enough to drive the girl out of the house and into the rainfall. At least if she's outside, she's free for a little bit. So instead of moping about what's happened indoors, Selphie's taking to wandering through the town, without a raincoat on.

And it doesn't help that a certain somebody who shall remain nameless probably needs a good butt kicking but she'll just walk that off and stomp through every single puddle she can find. She'll wind up somewhere eventually, she's just not sure where. Perhaps Good Spirits? Maybe a friendly face of someone who's not acting weird will be there.

She makes her way towards the local watering hole even though she's not in a drinking mood. Here's hoping they have hot chocolate because Selphie's a little bit on the soaked side. :(]

Well... I'm a little wet and practically everyone I know here is acting weird lately and... [Selphie sighs before she's wiping water off her face.] I just want things to go back to as normal as things get in Luceti.

[Selphie barely avoids the man trying to grab her as she runs behind him to give him a boot to the back of the knee. Before long, she's got the nunchaku out and she's holding it in a very threatening manner. As in, you come near her again and you're getting the spiky end of her nunchaku up your ass buddy.]

[Now Selphie knows who it is and she grins at Terra. It's the same person inside and that's what matters to Selphie.]

[Selphie breathes a sigh of relief before grinning nervously at Sokka.]

[There is another place that isn't full of angst and the thought of hiding out there until all this nonsense is over with is mighty tempting.]

If we can swing by Community Building Three, I can change clothes there. That is... if it's rebuilt itself.

[Once she's back up and secure, he'll start making the motions, bending the water. They move to the middle of the river before his bending starts pulling the water faster, causing the water rise and speed up. If she doesn't hold on tight now, she's bound to fall off.]

[Oh Selphie's not making the same mistake twice. It's probably exactly what Sokka wants (not that she's aware of this) but she wraps her arms around his chest and watches carefully as they begin moving forward in the water.]

[Selphie runs ahead of Hughes along the way and continues stomping through the puddles because she's feeling a smidge bit grumpy about the grumpy people in the house she's staying at. She'll continue stomping through said puddles until they arrive at a rebuilt C3.]

[A quiet place for when Selphie needs some quiet time is definitely a plus! She's back down in ten minutes in a pair of jean shorts cut off at the knees and a blue t-shirt but look, she found a raincoat and she's wearing it! She quite effectively looks like a five-year-old!]

[Perhaps he would have been mildly impressed with her fighting skill at another time - if she hadn't used it against him, that is. As it were, he wondered if he should take one of her eyes 'as a warning'.]

[He gets to his feet again, his expression showing his hatred. She gets one small warning: his wings flickers. Right afterwards, he builds momentum and jumps high up in the air, flipping acrobatically to land behind her. The demon relies on the surprise as he kicks towards the back of her elbow.]

[When Selphie left the house, Ceodore couldn't help wallowing in his dark and broody thoughts. Which led to suspicious thoughts, which led to jealous ones. So... he followed her out, lagging just enough behind to give this little interchange of aggression time to build.

Enough is enough. He creeps up behind Selphie's assailant the moment he touches the ground once more and pulls his sword, sliding the blade smoothly right under his chin.]

Touch her again and I will remove your head.

A lot faster. [He throws his arms back, and then forward again, picking up speed as they tear through the river. Their speed? Recklessly fast. At this point they're approaching one of the bridges. By the time they go over and through it, the bridge itself is left damaged and barely standing. Good thing it's late and the Malnosso will have fixed it by morning.]

We could really be in business if the river was bigger.
