[After spending most of the day as a small child and after having been put to bed for the night, Selphie wakes up with a start. She feels constricted with the smaller clothing on and claws it before she breathe freely again. She wraps a blanket around herself and goes out in search of a journal or Lucy. She needs clothes. Her clothes. Or clothes that fit so she can sleep comfortably. She'd been running around the village all day and was dead tired because of it.

So, five days as a little kid... it was fun even if I didn't remember anybody. I do know now though. Also, did anyone manage to successfully a certain special someone of mine from brooding himself into a pit of doom? Alrighty, Luceti. I've been effectively gone for two weeks so what've I missed?

And thanks to everybody who played with me this week! I had a blast but I'm going back to bed.

I didn't think they listened when you were nice.

[Ceodore's eyes slide shut and guilt washes over him. He misses his mother but he wouldn't wish her back here. But he still has parents. Ones that he's resented.

More than anything though, he just wants to fix this for Selphie and he knows that he can't. He can't even begin to fathom what to say or do. Yet out of instinct, he removes his hands from Selphie's grasp and envelops her in a tight hug, pressing her head to his shoulder.]

I don't think I have clothe that'll fit, but I can lend you a cloak?

I think I'll just wait until my friends bring me something...

[Selphie's fragile facade crumbles the minute he pushes her head against his shoulder. These tears are silent with the exception of the squeaky gasps for air. Pardon your girlfriend Ceodore, she needs to have a good, long cry.]

[It's killing him little by little to listen to the squeaks and know that there's nothing he can do, that he pushed her to this. Still, Ceodore strokes her hair tenderly and places small kisses on the top of her head.]

I think it's one of those you don't learn really well until you have kids of your own.

He didn't have any family growing up either. But I think... he's seemed happy. With us. With Mother and I guess me too.

[He really did forget their promise, didn't he? Selphie shakes her head a little bit. She really doesn't like it when Ceodore talks like he's not good enough when he is. Besides, it's never been his decision anyway.]

That's not really for you to decide, is it? He is happy with you and your Mother and it makes me sad to hear you saying stuff like this still.

And if you really wanna give me anything, you'll start having more confidence in yourself.
